Smoking 101: Tips for selling Fornetto Smokers
A few blogs ago we informed you about the upcoming trends for this seasons’ BBQ practices. From there we have already devoted an article to barbecuing on a gas BBQ in special our Fervor ranger models. Now it is the time to place smoking in the spotlight. And no, of course, we do not mean cigarette smoking, but actual roasty BBQ smoking. Let’s go!
At the moment, our guess is that a kamado grill is the most well-known smoker in the BBQ world. Even among some of our colleagues, this egg-shaped BBQ has a nice place in their gardens. This year, it is not part of our standard product range yet, but next year we are about to surprise our dealers with our very own Fornetto Kamado Grills. Grills? As in plural? Yes, three to be exact! Once the product range for 2022 goes live you are the first one to know, so stay tuned.
Another well-known smoker that is part of our product range is the Fornetto Razzo & Basso. They almost look like R2D2 BBQs, right? Imagine this in your customer’s garden!
The lid of all models includes a thermometer displaying the temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit, easy-grip handles that allow each section to be lifted in and out of position easily and safely, and phenolic dials for adjusting the airflow. Inside the lid, a hook construction is made to be able to hang meats, fish, cheese, sausages, vegetables, and other foods. The middle and bottom part of the smoker has two access doors to look inside the smoker chamber or access the fire basket and water bowl without lifting the sections apart. These smokers are highly flexible due to their smoking, roasting, steaming, and barbecuing ability. Also, you can add or remove sections easily to transform into a larger capacity smoker or a convenient portable charcoal grill.
And not to forget, award-winning BBQ teams such as Butchers Axe in Australia, Sticky Fingers in Italy, and Moonshine Bastards in The Netherlands make already use of the Razzo smoker thanks to its great performance and results!
Smoking is not only about finding and keeping the right temperature or the perfect preparation but above all about mastering the right techniques and thus the use of different accessories.
What do you think of heat-resistant leather gloves to prevent your hands from burning, or mini pizza stones to host a serious pizza party, a Dutch Oven/Stewpot to prepare the most delicious national and international stews, different kind of smoking chips to add extra flavour to your dishes or wood planks to create a more intense smoky flavour? The offer is large, the experience even greater!
